Notícias de Varsóvia: Mais um dia de chuva, mais um dia passado num museu. Desta vez no Museu Powstania Warszawskiego (da Revolta de Varsóvia), que descreve de uma forma tão exaustiva quão cativante, a incrível historia da mobilização de uma cidade inteira contra os anos de ocupação que sofreu às mãos dos alemães, durante a maior parte da Segunda Guerra Mundial. Começando com o primeiro levantamento que se viveu no Gueto (Judeu) de Varsóvia e acabando com a chegada e posse da cidade pelo exército russo. Há quem diga, que na verdade foram 50 anos seguidos de ocupação... Estive neste museu em duas ocasiões: 4h num primeiro dia para absorver toda a informação que pude. E depois disso 1h30 num segundo dia para fazer 3 desenhos, dos quais vos mostro agora este feito na sala principal. E mesmo assim sinto que terei que lá ir uma terceira vez...

News from Warsaw: Another rainy day, another day spent in a museum. This time at the Powstania Warszawskiego (Warsaw Uprising) Museum , which describes in a way as thorough as well as captivating the amazing story of the mobilisation of an entire city against the years of occupation suffered at the hands of the Germans during most of World War II. Beginning with the first uprising that came from the (Jewish) ghetto of Warsaw and ending with the arrival and possession of the city by the Russian Army. Some say that it was actually 50 years of continuous occupation ... I've been in this museum on two occasions: 4h a first day to absorb all the information I could. And after that 1h30 on a second day to do 3 drawings, of which I show you now the one done at the main exhibition room. And yet I feel that I have to go there a third time...
