Os diários gráficos têm-me permitido voltar uma e outra vez aos mesmos temas e modelos, procurando por um lado mudar a forma como os interpreto graficamente (variando materiais e formas de os representar) e por outro, dando-me a possibilidade de manter uma constância nesta actividade que, muitas vezes contra tudo e todos, insisto obstinadamente em explorar: a de desenhar. Como exemplo disso, aqui ficam estes dois jovens leões do MNCN que já tinham sido desenhados AQUI.

Sketchbooks have allowed me to return again and again to the same themes and models, giving me the opportunity on one hand to vary the way I interpret them graphically (experimenting with different materials and ways of drawing) and on the other, allowing me to keep a constancy in this activity that, often against all odds, I stubbornly insist on exploring: that of drawing. As an example, here are these two young lions of the MNCN that had already been drawn HERE.
