Notícias de Varsóvia: Eram as três horas da tarde de uma quinta-feira. Dois polícias devidamente fardados, abordam dois rapazes na casa dos vinte anos que estavam a andar pela rua. Um deles estava visivelmente bêbado e o outro, aparentemente mais sóbrio, levava consigo uma lata de cerveja na mão. Mandados parar, foram alvo de muitas perguntas, um pedido de identificação e de pelo menos uma multa por beber na rua (por isso é que em alguns bares com esplanada se servem estas e outras bebidas alcoólicas em latas de refrigerantes...). Porque entre outras coisas, na Polónia é proibido consumir bebidas alcoólicas na rua. Imagino que andar ébrio também... Aconteceu tudo no cruzamento da Ulica Swietokrzyska com a Nowy Swiat, onde estava já há uns minutos a desenhar...

News from Warsaw: It was three o'clock in the afternoon on a Thursday. Two uniformed policemen, addressed two guys in their twenties who were walking down the street. One of them was visibly drunk and the other, apparently more sober, was carrying a can of beer in his hand. Asked to stop, they were the subject of many questions, requested for their identification and got at least one fine for drinking in the street (which is why, in some bars with terraces, they serve up these and other alcoholic beverages in soda cans ...). Because among other things, in Poland it is forbidden to consume alcoholic beverages on the street. I imagine that walking drunk too ... It happened at the intersection of Ulica Swietokrzyska with Nowy Swiat, where I had been drawing for the past minutes...
